Over 75% of the charity’s finance is earned income, generated principally by hiring the hall.

In addition to the annual profit donated by its trading subsidiary, the Charity receives a generous annual grant of £35,000 from Frome Town Council under the terms of a Service Level Agreement.  This grant helps to subsidise markets and other charitable activities.

The charity receives occasional grants and donations from other sources. Over recent years these have included:

• Grants from Somerset County Council for CCTV, acoustic curtains and PA equipment
• A Regeneration grant from Mendip District Council towards ground floor improvements
• Grants from Frome Community Lottery for curtains, chairs and notice-boards
• A donation of 200 chairs from the Bingo Club
• A donation in memory of Robin Jefferies.
