about the hall
The Cheese and Grain is one of the most widely recognised buildings in Frome. Built in 1874 it is a large flat concrete floor market hall which can hold up to 850 people standing. Ground floor space includes a main hall with stage, a cafe and bar area and a foyer. A mezzanine floor built in 2002 contains offices and a large storage space which trustees plan to convert for community use.
