UK ROCK BAND “REEF” SET TO OPEN THE 2012 FROME FESTIVAL

UK Rock giants “REEF” will be performing the opening night of the popular 2012 Frome Festival taking place between July 6th and 15th.

The Somerset based rock band are renowned for their hit UK number 1 selling album “Glow” as well as a string of chart successes with “Place Your Hands On” and “Come Back Brighter” among many.

In July 2011, Reef headlined the Godney Gathering and performed to a sell out audience of 4500. Over previous years, the UK rock-quartet, have made a number of Festival appearances including the main stages at both Reading and Glastonbury.

2012 sees Reef releasing their long awaited box set titled 93/03. This package includes rare recordings/B sides and a back catalogue including Reef’s unreleased 5th album ‘Lucky #5’, collected together for the first time as the band originally intended. To coincide with this, Reef will be performing two intimate London dates in March prior to performing at the 2012 Frome Festival.

Last year’s Frome Festival was opened by Acoustic troubadours, Turin Brakes. The sold out show saw a number of fans turning up on the night unable to buy tickets. This time round, promoters have decided to release tickets early with the clear message to buy now to avoid disappointment!
